Since launching in October 2007, AAA sports have rapidly grown and are one of the largest Gymnastics, Trampoline and Cheerleading provider in the North of England, with hundreds of AAA sports members taking part in our activities across the region every week.  All AAA sports Classes are run by our highly qualified and experienced AAA sports Coaches, all of whom share a passion for the sport and aim to provide the best quality classes at all times.  We also have new and aspiring Coaches who deliver classes alongside our more experienced Coaches to provide support and extra tuition to AAA sports members. AAA Sports

I have completed the childminder course and am a qualified childminder. I have also finished all the mandatory training including QNUK Level 3 in Paediatric First Aid and Food Hygiene, all relevant childminding training, Designated Safeguarding Lead training and Home Based Childcare award. I have also completed the course Promoting Positive Behaviour, Supporting Early Language Development, Understanding Anaphylaxis and Understanding Asthma. I am a happy, patient, tolerant resilient and active mother of two children (13 and 11). I provide a fun, active, and relaxed atmosphere where children interact and improve their learning through play. Play is the highest expression of human development in childhood, for it alone is the free expression of what is in a child's soul. The playing child advances towards new stages of mastery.   I operate a multilingual setting to support Early Language Development in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Malay. Scientists from King's College, London found that the brain scans looked at a substance called 'myelin'- the insulation that develops from birth within the circuitry of the brain and found out that the distribution of myelin is fixed from the age of four, suggesting that the brain is more flexible and open to change in very early life. Brain circuitry would also explain why supporting children as they become bilingual is most effective when they are very young. The early years are the prime for children to learn and grow under the encouragement of their family, carers, and friends. The types of brain development in children include visual and auditing development, language development, physical and motor development emotional and social development. Alice's Childminding provides a homely safe environment with constant attention. More adult attention is seen to impact a child's childhood, creativity, confidence, independence, and self-esteem. I will regularly attend a local playgroup/ childminder group, library, a nearby playground/park and the beach. I offer a large variety of activities and help with homework if needed. I will use various materials which reflect different religious and cultural needs to support British Values. Healthy eating is crucial for children's development. I provide homemade healthy food, fruits, and snacks for all children and follow the guidance of the Food Standard Agency.I was an experienced primary teacher teaching Maths and Art in Malaysia.  I worked in a Nursery for a year in London.  I'm currently a teacher at Newcastle Chinese School for 5-6 year olds.  I have experience working with children with Autism. The Autism Outreach Team is a well established multi disciplinary team, based at Columbia Grange School, comprising representatives from Education, Health and Social Care. The AOT offers support and guidance to professionals, parents/carers and children/young people. Bexhill Primary Academy & 2 Year Provision

Eligible to offer free 2 year old childcare places and 3 and 4 year funding. Carol is registered to care for babies to school age children. She is a qualified Nursery Nurse and Social Worker, with a Certificate in Playgroup Practice. Carol has also completed an Advanced Diploma in Childcare and Education, a Level 3 Certificate in Childminding Practice, a Foundation Degree in Education and Care in July 2010 and has completed a BA (Hons) Education and Curriculum Studies degree in July 2012. She regularly attends childminder training courses to keep up to date. Carol has worked in the childcare profession for over 36 years, she has relevant qualifications as well as vast experience.  Parents both past and present are happy to speak with prospective parents as a form of reference. Carol can also offer a babysitting service in the Sunderland area.  Carol was graded Outstanding in her two Ofsted inspections in 2008 and January 2011.   Carol has also been a member of the Redby childminders group for over 10 years where she attends play sessions each week and  during the school holidays Carol attends places such as Washington Wildfowl Park, local parks and the beach etc with the group. During term time the children are taken out to parks, toddler groups, museums and soft play etc regularly. Castle Kindergarten aims to provide each child with a caring environment which is safe, stimulating and a very happy day-time alternative to home.  Our carefully designed indoor and outdoor space allows children to play, explore, discover and create in safe, secure and inviting surroundings.  We promote all areas of learning and development as outlined in England's statutory Early Years Foundation Stage which sets the standards for learning, development and care of children from birth to 5 years old. How does a child get a place at Harry Watts Academy?New admissions to our school will have an Education Health and Care Plan, with a diagnosis of Autism and a Complex Learning Disability. Sunderland Local Authority is the Admissions Authority for Harry Watts Academy and parents/carers interested in a place for their child should consult with the SEN Office at the Civic Centre in Sunderland. Harry Watts do not commission or offer places themselves.Prior to commencing at Harry Watts Academy, we endeavour to set up a transition plan appropriate to the child/young person’s needs.  The transition plan may include: a home visit, a visit to the child’s current placement, the child visiting Harry Watts Academy and a phased admission where appropriate.How much support will my child receive?All pupils are taught in small classes with the usual class size being eight pupils.  Each class has a teacher and usually two teaching assistants.  This helps to ensure that all pupils receive a balance of whole class, small group and individual teaching.At Harry Watts, there are three pathways; Engage, Explore and Discover. Each pupil is assessed looking at their profile of strengths and needs, the way in which they learn best, and are then identified on a pathway. Teachers use programmes and methods such as BSquared, IDL, the Engagement Model to assess the progress, and monitor this through a Pupil Progress report. All targets and outcomes are directly from the individual EHCP outcomes, as this is the main driver of each pupil's curriculum.SCERTS (Social Communication, Emotional Regulation and Transactional Supports) is an autism specific approach that we use across the school. The SCERTS® Model is a research-based educational approach and multidisciplinary framework that directly addresses the core challenges faced by children with ASD, and their families. SCERTS® focuses on building competence in Social Communication, Emotional Regulation and Transactional Support as the highest priorities that must be addressed in any programme, and is applicable for individuals with a wide range of abilities and ages across home, school and community settings.  At Harry Watts Academy, SCERTS targets are set once per year, at the EHCP review.  Each target is worked on at home and school.  Progress towards the achievement of the target is monitored daily.  A multidisciplinary team set targets.These processes allow us to monitor the progress of pupils, which in turn informs the setting of new targets for pupils.A pupil’s progress is discussed with parent/carers.

Health Transition Nursing Team

We offer the highest of quality childcare and education for children, 6 weeks to 5 years old.  We are OFSTED approved and can confirm that all our high quality staff are police cleared. We offer 15 hour funded childcare places for 2 year olds as well as either 15 or 30 hour funded places for 3 and 4 year olds, depending on eligibility.  Places can be offered flexibly as our setting is open 51 weeks of the year.  This setting is registered for Tax Free Childcare.

The Military Preparation College (MPC) is a unique training college that helps 16-19 year olds develop their fitness, vocational qualifications, and employability skills to help prepare for employment, including rewarding careers in the British Armed Forces. Each Military Preparation College forms part of a network of over 20 colleges across England and Wales. The unique active learning curriculum inspires students to achieve their personal best with 50% of every day spent learning outdoors or taking part in physical training. The MPC curriculum has been designed to develop our students’ physical fitness, essential skills and self-confidence. The college operates a ‘roll on, roll off’ joining process with no set deadline by which to apply, allowing new recruits to join on a weekly basis.

Make-Up Artistry OverviewThe VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Make-Up Artistry will enable you to work as a professional make-up artist. You will gain skills and knowledge in instructing clients on make-up application, media make-up including applying small ready-made prosthetic pieces, fashion and photographic make-up, camouflage make-up, face and body art. You will also have the opportunity to gain skills in airbrush make-up, styling and fitting head and facial postiche (wigs and hairpieces) or Mendhi skin decoration. Course FundingYou can apply for an advanced learner loan to help with the costs of a course at a college or training provider in England. Our induction officer will be there to help and support you when you apply on your enrolment. Loan eligibility does not depend on your income and there are no credit checks. You do not need to pay anything towards this course before you begin earning over the threshold amount. You do not need to start repaying your loan until your income is over a certain amount the ‘threshold’ amount which in this instance is £27,295 per annum. You’ll be charged interest from the day you get the first payment. You can apply for up to 4 loans and you can get more than one at the same time. You can apply for another loan to take the same level of a course, for example the same level qualification in Massage Therapy if you’ve already had a loan for the same level in Nail Technology.You cannot apply until you get a ‘learning and funding information letter’ from your college or training provider. National Beauty Academy Level 2 Make-Up Artistry Course

Southwick Community Primary provides education for pupils aged 3 - 11 years. It also has childcare provision on site - New Beginnings Nursery, for children from birth to 3 years including free early education for 2 year olds for families who meet relevant eligibility criteria, and working parent entitlements. This setting is registered for Tax Free Childcare.

New Beginnings Nursery (Southwick Community Primary School)

Nicola is registered to look after babies to school age children up to the age of eight and also looks after children and young people over 8 years old.  She is a qualified Nursery Nurse with an NNEB certificate  and has a Diploma in Home Based Childcare Level 3. She regularly attends Childminder training courses to keep up to date. Nicola was graded Outstanding in March 2016 and 2011. Nicola offers care all year, fulltime, term time, before and after school and school holidays. She is a member of Redby Childminders Group which she has attended for over 10 years and also attends the play session each week. Children have access to a wide range of activities and experiences. Nicola is registered for Tax Free Childcare.

Nicola will welcome all children and will work with parents and professionals to try to meet individual children's needs.

Northern Saints is a voluntary aided primary school offering education provision for pupils aged 3 - 11 years.They also have a resourced provision for pupils aged 4 - 11 years who have Specific Language Impairment.See the Local Offer details section for more information.
