My Best Life User's Privacy Policy
1 Introduction
This policy is for users of My Best Life.
Mind Of My Own builds software for children, young people and families. We believe that all children, young people and their families should be able to give voice to their lived experience - and be heard. My Best Life connects children, young people and their families to essential support services.
My Best Life allows people to book on to events that they wish to attend in their local area and to have access to resources they may need.
2 The information we process
To make it work, the system will capture the following basic information -
For people who are booking an event:
- their name
- their email address
For people, including children, who are attending an event:
- their full name
- their date of birth
This personal information is the minimum needed for the booking system to work.
For some services, the person using the My Best Life system will book the child/ren they care for on to an event. This information is then used by the host for event planning purposes.
After attending an event you may be asked to give a review using the My Best Life website. You can choose whether to leave a review or not. If you do, you will never be asked for your name or email address. Your review will be completely anonymous unless something you write allows you to be identified. The feedback from reviews will be used by council staff and event organisers to make improvements to their services.
3 How we process your information or data
Your information is -
- Stored only in the UK, on secure cloud servers
- Used only for you to access events and resources that you have chosen
