Foundation of Light, the registered charity of Sunderland Football Club, described as a blueprint for football, aims to make learning and self development fun by using the power of football. Already working with over 42,000 young people per year and employing over 100 staff.

The Foundation of Light helped improve the lives of more than 40,000 people across Sunderland, South Tyneside and County Durham last year and relies on fundraising for 95% of project costs.

Making Moves

The Making Moves team offers disability sports activities making sport fun for everyone. A wide range of disability programmes are available to ensure young people and adults across the North East can enjoy sport, an active lifestyle and build friendships. The disability coaching team deliver fun, exciting and challenging sessions and activities.
