We cover the west of the city and currently offer a wide and diverse range of recreational and educational opportunities for the whole community. What we doWe are a resource for the community, adopting a community development model to meet community needs. PAG is situated in one of the most deprived areas of Sunderland and currently operates a variety of projects  and prides itself on offering a wide and diverse range of recreational and educational opportunities for the WHOLE Community. We provide or facilitate courses for people of working age to enhance their employability and for everyone for social or recreational purposes.  These courses can be arranged by PAG or by external sources and are quite often free of charge to the service user.  The courses can be accredited or non-accredited and can vary in length from a couple of hours to as long as a few weeks. Pallion Action Group (PAG)

We deliver 3 different types of study programs: Warehousing and Storage level 1 NVQ study programme - in this programme you will do the following course;<ul><li>Warehousing and Storage NVQ level 1</li><li>Employability Skills BTEC entry Level 3</li><li>Functional Skills (the level you sit is worked out at induction) </li></ul>Occupational studies (bricklaying, joinery, tilling) study programme - in this programme you will do the following course;<ul><li>Occupational Studies level 1</li><li>Employability Skills BTEC entry Level 3</li><li>Functional Skills (the level you sit is worked out at induction)</li></ul>Employability BTEC study programme - in this programme you will do the following course;<ul><li>Employability Skills BTEC entry Level 3</li><li>Functional Skills (the level you sit is worked out at induction)</li></ul>19+ Unemployed Warehousing and Storage NVQ including Forklift Lift truck Training (Counterbalance or Reach Truck)

Sunderland Training and Education Farm is the only educational farm in Sunderland. It is a place for the local community to come along and visit our animals and join in on our many activities that we do. The farm is not just a place where people can come and visit our animals it is also a training centre for the local community who want to do training courses and apprenticeships. The farms aims are:• Empower the citizens of Sunderland to enable them to improve their quality of life.• Improve the educational, social, welfare and leisure opportunities of children and adults in the area.• Work in partnership with other agencies and citizens of Sunderland.
