Following Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.

Have development records for each child together with monthly journals 0-3 years.

All ages do daily diaries to help enhance communication. We also offer parent/carer open nights/written reports.

Buttons nursery provides a monthly newsletter which provides information regarding other services.

Staff hold relevant childcare qualifications, staff have had training in First Aid, Safeguarding, Food Hygiene and Makaton.

What is the Local Offer

The setting have staff who have attended Early Bird training which was provided by the Autism Outreach Team. Quite a few of the staff use Makaton.

The setting also have staff who are experienced with working with children who have Down's Syndrome and children who require intermittent catheter's changing.
