At Percy Hedley School we set out to make a difference to the learning, well-being and future life chances of children aged 3 - 19. Teachers, therapists and special support assistants work together to meet the individual needs of every pupil.
Percy Hedley School works with children with cerebral palsy or neurological disorders, and children with speech, language and communication difficulties. Our pupils have a range of abilities and challenges, we support children with complex difficulties to engage in activities in the classroom, and to be aware of their environment, through to pupils who are able to access higher levels of curriculum, but require support to remove their barriers to learning, such as communication difficulties or anxiety.
Our main aim is to work together to unlock the potential of every one of our pupils, and to develop their skills in the main areas of communication, well- being, functionality and independence.
