Patricia has been registered with Ofsted since 2000, Patricia lives in a residential area of Millfield very close to Sunderland Royal Hospital and a short walking distance from Millfield Metro.

Patricia lives at home with her husband and 3 children. Two boys aged 24 and 22 and a 15 year old girl and a puppy, children can learn a lot from having contact with animals. We also have a pet policy.

Patricia provides an exceptionally warm, safe and stimulating environment for the children in her care and is working to EYFS framework. Patricia was recently inspected by Ofsted and has achieved an outstanding report.

The Early Years Foundation Stage

I work within the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework. The EYFS this was introduced in September 2008. It sets the standards of learning, development and care for children from birth to five years old.

The whole of the ground floor is used for childcare and is well equipped and is child friendly throughout.

Patricia has an excellent knowledge of healthy diets and encourages the children to eat her home cooked food and also encourages the childrento eat fruit and vegtables which are always available throughout the day.
