My name is Helen Telfer and I have been registered with Ofsted as a childminder since February 2011.

I qualified as a secondary language teacher in 1997 and taught for 4 years. I decided to be a full time mam when I had my 1st child. I had the priviledge of being at home with my 2 children and enjoyed taking them to toddler groups, swimming, doing crafts, trips to the park and baking. Once they were both in full time school I took the opportunity to start my own business as a childminder. I enjoy this role very much and am able to offer childcare in a warm, homely and loving environment.

I can offer your child a variety of activities and experiences. Here in my setting we can read a variety of books, sing and play musical instruments, dress up, do water play, play with sand, play doh, paint, do craft activities, bake together, play with toys. We will go on trips to parks and go to toddler groups. It's lots of fun!
