Sunderland City Council Welfare Rights Service - Welfare right service offers and gives Specialist Benefits Advice, including Employment Law to people who live in Sunderland and the surrounding areas. The advice given covers a range of benefits for people that may have physical or mental health conditions. People aged 16 and over. Who may get support from Adult Social Care. Children with disabilities and their Carers. Unpaid Carers and young people Leaving Care. A person who may have a critical illness or with sensory impairment(s) or has been offered a job and requires a “better off calculation”.
